1 Tax File Number collection

If we collect your Tax File Number (TFN), we do so under the authority of section 202(ia) of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 to facilitate the administration of the Superannuation (Unclaimed Money and Lost Members) Act 1999.

Please note:

• Providing your TFN is not compulsory
• We collect TFNs solely for superannuation search and administration purposes
• If you do not provide your TFN, we may not be able to conduct comprehensive superannuation searches on your behalf
• TFNs are disclosed only to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) under section 202CC of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936

2 Disclosure

We may disclose this personal information to third parties, including our personnel, related entities, any third parties engaged by us and acting on our behalf and as otherwise set out in our Privacy Policy. Tax File Numbers are disclosed only to the ATO for superannuation administration purposes and are not disclosed to any other third parties.

3 Overseas storage

We store personal information in Australia. Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, those third parties may store, transfer or access personal information outside of Australia.
